Formidable hunters and eaters of carrion, these arachnids have grown to the size of a man. Born in the searing deserts, these cunning predators have spread to other regions of the World, since few natural predators can stand against them. Unlike most predators of their size, giant scorpions infest a place in large numbers, eating each other once prey runs out. Encased in a tough armored shell, giant scorpions boast a pair of wicked claws that I have seen shred a suit of fine mail, and attack their prey relentlessly. If fighting these beasts, never forget their tails, which strike like lightning and hold a deadly sting! Though little more than gargantuan beasts, it is dangerous to underestimate them. A full score of human slaves were slain when I captured one of the beasts to transport it, live, back to the halls of my Master!
