The least of the Unholy Legions, skeletons are the bones of a dead being bound together and given motion by a vengeful spirit from the Dark or evil magic. An affront to the natural order, Skeletons are driven by an endless hatred for all that lives, and will attack the living with tireless fury. Already dead, Skeletons lack any knowledge of fear or pain and will fight until their bones are shattered, seeking to overwhelm powerful foes through sheer force of numbers. Necromancers and more powerful undead beings can easily command the spirits that drive skeletons, and often use Skeletons as troops in great armies of the dead. The brilliant and illustrious magus Kollanderon, the First Necromancer, was the first magus to successfully animate a Skeleton using necromantic sorcery.
